Fall, 2011

本學期的課程分為兩階段，

(一) 對於Visual Information Design的基礎認識與探討，以及案例的介紹與分析。

(二) 透過與IIID協會(http://www.iiid.net/)合作，透過於2011 IDA Congress 台北世界設計大會 (IIID + 2011 IDA)參與協助中實踐對視覺資訊(訊息)設計宏觀的、跨地域性的認識、訓練、與表現。

我們將在第一階段有了基礎的認識(Instructor: Dr. Tingyi)，

並於十月份的密集訓練課程(Instructor: Dr. Tingyi + Mr. Martin Foessleitner)，

本課程目標期盼參與的學員將有中英文雙語的能力於IIID, IDA2011會場與其他Information Design感興趣的人士互動。

本課程學員除了課程學分和課程中的學習、訓練、與互動，

完成訓練課程者將成為IIID於世界設計大會的工作人員，

並得到IIID所發出的正式證書(Certificate)。

For the fall of 2011, this Visual Information Design course will focus on the fundamental and dynamic discussions in learning what Visual Information Design is. There are two sessions:

(A) Introduction case discussion on the topic of visual information design

(B) Volunteers and training session in the class and in the booth of IIID at 2011 IDA Congress

設計專論 [Special Topics on Design]

本學期針對訊息設計進行專論研究，以符號與符碼中色彩與形態的應用設計為主軸，在個案討論中針對人類之於視覺訊息的傳遞與吸收進行介面與心理層面的探討。課堂中將理論研究與實務練習結合，進行問題解決與討論、改良設計的創作實驗與測試實驗，用以解決生活中辨識認知的問題。消除視覺訊息傳遞與吸收的障礙，提供訊息設計的最佳化服務為目的。

設計傳達: 作業繳交注意事項

2010上學期 設計傳達作業 繳交注意事項

1. 作業繳交須包含: 作品(影片，圖片)，與創作心得300字以上。

2. 作業上傳請包含報告文字、相關的圖片、及(或)相關的影片。

3.如引用他人之文字，圖片或影片，請標明出處。

4. 請將標籤(tag)設為作者姓名, 設計傳達, 及學號。

5. 加標籤時請用英文的逗號，如黃飛鴻, 設計傳達, M9810999。

6. 標題寫法為主題或作者姓名 + 空格 + 斜線 + 空格 + 學號，如：武功祕笈之見招猜招 / M9710999。

7. Deadline: 23:59, January 04, 2011 上傳完畢。

Visual Design & Decision Making '10

今年春季2010 Visual Design and Decision Making課程以【Place】為主題。由進入三個環境尋求對文化的認識、了解、及體驗，並在創作的過程中分別進行視閱者與設計者不同角色的扮演，以多元面向切入內容的觀察與討論，再進入視覺表現的產出、討論、與修改。課程中亦包含與UW-Milwaukee學生對於 【Ritual】的交流和討論，於是有更多面向的想法相互刺激，完成豐富的視覺創作。本數位作品集最後由宜琳設計，協助完成。

2009 International Graphic Design Collaborative Project

當我們即將完成並發佈2010年的課程作品，我想應該先將2009年精彩的數位化課程作品集介紹給大家。這一本數位化課程作品集陳列了NTUST的學生和UW-Milwaukee的學生合作的作品。在有限的時間的遠距離的空間條件下進行討論與產出的視覺實驗和展現。最後由曜全編輯整理與作品集設計：

繳交檔案規範

此次與國外學生交換海報的檔案，麻煩各位同學將檔案按照以下方式整理。

請將所有檔案放入同一個資料夾，檔名設為「中文姓名 英文姓名」，例：「黃子倫 Huang Tzu-Lun」。

資料夾內應包含：
1. 原始檔：ai或psd檔均可，檔名請設「作品名稱」，例：「dolls.ai」。
2. 預覽圖：請將檔案轉存成jpg及pdf檔兩種檔案格式，方便預覽，檔名同樣設為「作品名稱」，例：「dolls.jpg」。
3. 素材圖：請將素材圖放入同一個資料夾中，設檔名為「picture」。
4. 說明文件：該文字檔請註明作品名稱、尺寸及創作理念，或是還有其他補充說明，檔名設為「tips」。

另外，若有同學要繳交兩張或以上的作品時，請將檔案分開資料夾放置，資料夾檔名用作品名稱區別即可。
